Khulna BRTC Training Center Trainer Saidul Hawlader Shanto Alleged Sexual Harassment of Female Trainees, Investigation Team Formed

Several female trainees who came to learn driving have filed a sexual harassment complaint with the BRTC Chairman against Saidul Hawlader alias Shanto, a trainer at the BRTC Bus Depot and Training Center located in Shiromoni, Khulna. The matter has created a sensation in the entire BRTC.

According to the complaint, Saidul Hawlader Shanto trained women at the Khulna BRTC Training Center. However, some of the women who were affected complained that he sometimes touched women badly. In addition, the complainants have also made comments that the trainer Shanto used to touch the girls while teaching them how to hold the wheel and steering of the car. On the other hand, Saidul Hawlader Shanto has been dancing with the girls to make Reels videos on Facebook and TikTok. However, this did not stop there. The ghost used to determine the future fate of the female trainees by constantly looking at their hands.

Investigation revealed that Saidul Hawlader Shanto, the associate general secretary of the BRTC Sramik Karmachari League, an affiliated organization of the Sramik League, had abused his power during his tenure. He has been working in the BRTC bus depot and training center in Khulna for about 8 years, using the influence of the Awami League.

It is worth noting that the BRTC authorities have already formed a 3-member investigation team to investigate the allegations of various crimes, including immoral behavior with female trainees, said BRTC Director (Administration and Operation) Md. Rahenul Islam.

Saidul Hawlader Shanto, a trainer at the BRTC Training Center Khulna, said that all the allegations made against me are not true.
